Organization administration

Configure automatic credit allocation

Distribute the owner's organization credits to members when they join, run low, or the plan renews.

How organization credit allocation works

Open Organization → Credit settings. Owners and admins can configure three independent rules. Each rule transfers credits from the owner's balance to other organization members; it does not create extra credits.

Automatic credit allocation page with new-member, low-balance, and plan-renewal rules enabled

New member credits

Enable New member credits and enter Credits to assign to give a user a starting balance once when they accept an organization invitation. The owner's balance must contain enough credits when the user joins.

Low-balance top-up

Enable Low-balance top-up and set:

  • Low-balance threshold: the balance at or below which a member qualifies.
  • Top-up amount: the number of credits transferred to each qualifying member.

The rule applies to members, not the owner. A top-up is skipped when the owner does not have enough credits to fund all eligible transfers.

Plan renewal credits

Enable Plan renewal credits and enter the amount intended for each member. When the organization plan renews, the system distributes credits from the renewed owner's balance to other members. If the full configured amount is unavailable, the system limits the per-member distribution to what can be shared evenly without overdrawing the owner.

Save and review each rule

Each rule has its own Save changes button. After changing a switch or amount, save that rule before moving to another page. Enabled amounts must be greater than zero.

Use Organization → Credit transactions to confirm completed automatic allocations. Transactions are labeled New User Bonus, Low Balance Top-up, or Plan Renewal.

Plan ahead for several members

Automatic allocations draw from the same owner balance used by Cloud jobs and manual transfers. Multiply the per-member amount by the number of eligible members before enabling a rule.
